We'll Always Have Paris (Restaurant) Shadowbox

Dana's client brought in a collection of items that commemorated a single, very special meal that he had with some comrades at a wonderful restaurant in Paris, Le Taillevent. The collage that got framed was a collection of platform-mounted photos, a matted menu surrounded by a gold fillet, and some sewn-down, platform mounted wine corks (3 courses worth). Having been to Paris in summer of 2013, I understand all too well how amazing the cuisine is there. The chefs even autographed the menu!

The frame was a Gemini 7500 1 1/2" wide, tall matte black cap moulding. Glass was anti-reflective Museum Glass. Mat used was Artique 4861 Buff, with a Larson-Juhl LX0466 Gold fillet surrounding the menu in the mat opening. The glass size was 26 x 23 3/4". The framed photos are mounted on beveled mat board platforms, as are the corks, sewn onto a beveled platform and displayed in what is called a "French Float" mat style. Tasteful framing for a tasty event!
