Chicago artist Steve Slaske sketches everywhere he goes. In fact, he has been doing this for so long that he has amassed a large collection of drawings done in pen and ink with watercolor washes that catalog and chronicle the many amazing views of cities around the country and the world that he has visited. Since we are a Chicago-based frame shop, we show you, here, some of our favorite images by Steve that depict iconic Chicago views. All prints are signed and numbered editions and are 17 x 5.5" in size (with one exception) and are sold, here, unframed.Buckingham Fountain is spectacular when lit up at night in season. It was a fountain designed and built in honor of the visit of Queen Elizabeth II back in the 1950's.
