#BWCHI-8 Blakeway Panoramic B&W Photo Print of Chicago Lakefront
This Black & White aerial panorama of Chicago was taken over Lake Michigan by James Blakeway. On the far left, almost fully surrounded by water, is the Adler Planetarium. Further up the shoreline is the John G. Shedd Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium for most of the 20th century. Just inland from that is The Field Museum of Natural History, named after Marshall Field, the wealthiest and most powerful businessman in Chicago during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Further left is Soldier Field, home to the Chicago Bears football team. Centered, with its twin antennas, is the 110 floor Willis tower, formerly known as Sears Tower. Grant Park is also centered, featuring the spectacular Buckingham Fountain. To the far right is Navy Pier.
This print is 40" x 13 1/2" in size, printed on satin finished paper stock, ideal for dry mounting before framing. The print will come to you rolled up in a sturdy tube.
