Police Badges and Service Decorations Shadowbox
The contents of this shadowbox belonged to a Chicago policeman. This was all put together for a retirement gift by his fellow officers. When designing the frame, we used ArtGlass Water White Anti-reflective glass to allow maximum clarity of the 3-D contents. The frame was photographed after completion and not before the glass was put in. You can see some reflection it it, but not much.
The frame is Studio Moulding 242-134 "Elan" Mahogany, a frame that is about 1" wide and 2" tall. It is ideal for classy shadowbox frames. the matting is C7581, a Crescent linen in Jewel Blue. Note that the service pins, below, have been attached to a mat board platform and have a riser underneath them to give a 3D effect along with some special screw-on easels that allowed this frame to be displayed on a table or shelf.
