Marathon Man Shadowbox, Part 1
One of our clients, Steve Hughes, is an avid marathon runner who has completed an astonishing number of marathons and been given medals for each. We designed a shadowbox frame for him to showcase them. All the items in the frame are mounted on platforms, with some visible and some not. The circular ones were cut on our Wizard CMC (computerized mat cutter). the shadowbox is Crescent 1634 Fog Gray Rag Mat. The glass is Tru-Vue Conservation Clear (u/v filtering). The frame is a Larson-Juhl 210285 Tribeca 3/4" wide matte black wood frame. As you can see from the pictures below, Steve has traveled all over to run these marathons.

The medallions are mounted on mat board circles cut on our Wizard CMC. We used black-core mat board for this.
We hope he ran it in the summertime up there!
These two awards have risers under them.
The ribbon hangs over the top of the shadowbox and onto the back of the platform without being cut.
