Eddie Vedder Letter to Auditorium Theatre Chicago
As a child, Eddie Vedder (the front man for the band Pearl Jam) came to events at Chicago's famous venue, The Auditorium Theatre.
After he got to play there, in 2023, he sent a thank you note to the management, telling them what an awesome experience it was to actually play the amazing place where he had visited, over the years, as an audience member. We have framed for the Auditorium Theatre for a number of years and have created collage gift frames, such as this one, for many musicians and artists, like Bob Dylan, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, The National and others.
This frame is a moulding by AMPF, #7320, with a Bainbridge 4165 Coal Black Suede mat on top and a Bainbridge 8086 Brass Band liner mat outlining the openings. The bottom mat, onto which the tickets are mounted with a small amount of it showing around each ticket, is Crescent 5598 Etched Black. Glass is Tru-Vue Conservation Clear (normally reflective, but 99% u/v filtering). Glass size is 16 3/4" x 19 3/4". The mat opening for the letter is 8 x 10 1/2".
If you have artifacts, such as this, that you wish to preserve and be able to display, bring them in for a no-cost, no-obligation design consultation. We are experts at laying out collage frames like this and would love to show you what is possible to enshrine your favorite ephemera and memorabilia.
Framing designed, executed, and photographed by Brian D. Flax, CPF
