Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel Autographed Newspaper Article

A client of ours brought in a newspaper article autographed by then-mayor, Rahm Emanuel, to be framed. It was a Chicago Tribune article about how the Mayor got the school day lengthened an extra 90 minutes. We designed a shadowbox frame and mat treatment that beautifully showcased the newspaper article about this important change. Glass size is 15 x 16 1/4.

The official flag of the City of Chicago is four, red, 6-pointed stars on a field of white between two strips of light blue (see graphic above). All those elements and colors were incorporated into the frame job and it turned out really well. The stars were created and cut out on our Wizard 9000 CMC (computerized mat cutter). The mat is C9500 White on top, C1512 blue on the bottom and the stars are cut from C9577 Red. The frame is L210285 Tribeca matte black wood.

The client loved it!
