Ansley #227 Collection

Ansley is versatile. Who says you can only use one frame on a picture? Shown at right is a great example of the a flat-top Ansley #227 stacked inside of a #294 profile in the Grey color. Further, there is an antique silver fillet slipped in between the two frames to create a line of metal or color. You can create a brand new profile by simply stacking one moulding inside the other. It increases the dramatic effect on the matted art and widens the frame. We do it all the time when creating one-of-a-kind, custom frame designs for our retail store framing customers, not just with two mouldings in the same design family, but with other colors, patterns and profiles. As long as there is a synergy created, and the new combination looks great, anything goes!
