Like the "little black dress" that has been enshrined in fashion consciousness, this collection serves the same purpose. It's basic, uncluttered and timeless. It fits anywhere with virtually any type of art. While similar in look, this moulding collection should not be confused with the Nielsen Bainbridge Tribeca collection of ready-made frames offered elsewhere on this website.

This profile has a 3/4" wide, flat face, a 1" tall rabbet (the height of the area under the lip of the frame) and is 1 1/4" tall overall. Finish is a matte black lacquer. It's deep enough to frame a stretched canvas (lightweight stretcher bars).

372285 Tribeca Black Matte 1 1/4

TRIBECA 372285

This black matte, flat-top moulding has a 1 1/4" wide face, an 11/16" rabbet (the height of the area under the lip of the frame) and is 7/8" tall overall. It can be stacked inside the Tribeca 210285 to create a multi-level frame, or inside any other taller frame for that matter, creating a black zone around the art. Or, it can be used by itself.

382285 Black Matte Wood Frame

A fairly substantial, basic moulding, the Tribeca 382285 has a face 1 5/8" wide with a 1" rabbet (the height of the area under the lip of the frame) and an overall height of 1 5/16". It works particularly well for larger posters and prints, since it is very strong structurally in bigger sizes.

550285 Tribeca 2 1/4

TRIBECA 550285

The Tribeca 550285 is wider and flatter than the other three profiles shown above. It is 2 1/4" wide on the face, with a 1/2" rabbet and an overall height of 3/4". Like the others, it has a black matte lacquer finish. This moulding works well for larger frames, as it is structurally strong and allows for at least 3 v-nails at each corner when joining.
