Idea 3-Chinese Scroll Shadowbox

One of our clients was in China with her husband this past year and brought back some beautiful artifacts and souvenirs. This beautfiul silk scroll was one of them. We framed it in a deep Max Silver foil with scratches shadowbox moulding, lined with black suede. We had to sew the scroll down all along its perimeter and in numerous places to hold the ends of the scrolls in place.

Glazing was U/V plexiglass, as the box was too long to use glass. The box has large D-rings on each end for hanging. This size and shape of shadowbox really cannot use wire. Either D-rings on either end or a long French Cleat (Z-Bar) bolted to the top, rear of the frame is best.

This and the Oxhide Puppets were both brought back from the same trip.
