Framatic Fineline Metal Frames

Framatic is a brand of frames built in the U.S.A. and has been part of the framing industry for decades. What sets them apart is their unique approach to frame design. Featured here is our favorite: The Fineline. It is an exceptionally thin-edged frame (1/8") with a patented "Framelok" corner joining system. It enables one end of the frame to be easily removed for loading yet securely attached when in use and requires no screwdriver to do this. The frame comes with regular glass with smooth, sanded edges and no matting, leaving you free to mat it as you wish.

What first attracted us to this product was their selection of unusual, hard-to-find sizes in which they were offered. It is nearly impossible to find ready-made frames in many of these sizes, especially the square sizes and the digital sizes. They are available in black or white powder coated or silver anodized finishes. Special savings available when you buy 6 or more at a time of a size.

Need a special mat to fit any of these frame sizes? Contact us for a quote on a custom mat. If you like, we can ship the mats along with your Framatic Fineline frames. For example, if you were to have a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" photo, we could mat it to fit the 7 x 7 or the 8 x 8. A 5 x 5" image would fit nicely in an 11 x 11 (3" borders all around).  We can put a "V" groove around the mat opening to subtley enhance the look as well.
