Chicago Bears' Idonije signed jersey
A client of ours, who owns a fine restaurant down in Chicago's Hyde Park, brought us an autographed Chicago Bears jersey from Israel Idonije (know to his fans as the "I-Train"), who does a lot for charity these days. This may have been bought in a silent auction. Whatever the origin, the client brought it to us to frame for the restaurant.
We framed it in a moulding we used for other jersey framing projects, a Fotiou 4378PL frame. This is black with distressed edges showing the red bole under the satin black lacquer. It is a nice, deep, solid, stylish moulding for shadowbox work and is not a boring flat-top.
Glass is TruVue conservation Clear 99% u/v filtering glass. We did not photograph it before adding the glass, so we apologize for the reflection in the pictures. If this were Museum or AR glass, you would not see the reflection.
The shadowbox liner is crescent 7113 Marine blue. The glass size of the frame is 34 x 39, with everything sewn down and stiffeners added to the end of the short sleeves, since they have elastic around the arm openings, making it difficult to keep them flat and unwrinkled.
